Little Explorer

This is a simple 2D platformer designed for the Kenney Jam 2022. In this jam, we were tasked to create a game in 48 hours using Kenney assets (sprites, models, etc.). The theme of the jam is 'Growth'.

In this exploration/platformer game, you can explore 4 levels and expand your world...literally! Every coin and gem you gather grows your field of view, while gems also enhance your movement.

This is the first jam I have entered, so I hope you enjoy! Above all, I would love feedback on how I can improve.

Unfortunately there is a bug, presumably related to keyboard settings. It only allows the character to jump 2 tiles rather than 3. If this is the case, you will not be able to progress in the game. I'm working on a fix, but as a game for a completed jam, it is low priority.
